2012 off to a great start

Hello all I know its been a couple of weeks but I'm back!! As many of you know I work 2 jobs but I am always encouraged!! A new year represents new opportunities ahead...single moms hang in there this year and remember no matter how things look God is still in  charge and has your back, front and both sides! Remember we do what we have to but not necessarily what we want to...I love you all and I will be back this week...Peace

New Year?

As this year comes to a close I praise and thank God for getting us thru it!! I have learned over the years not to make resolutions but to follow the will of GOD!! Single parents go thru a lot each and every year but it is my prayer for all of us that we are continually blessed and that our lights shine so that our children will remember and follow in the paths we have set before them. This is no easy role and I thought long and hard before starting this blog but I figured this was a part of my healing process. At Christmas I thought a lot about the path I was on and no I dont dot every I and cross every T but I try really hard to do the right things.

Thanks to everyone who reads this blog and pray you are blessed as I have been thus far!  I love all of you and Happy New Year!! Lets do this in 2012

As this year comes to a close I encourage you to seek God about what direction to take in 2012. As a single mom every decision I make affects not just me but children as well.. I pray my decisions are in the will of GOD for all my years to come. Single parenthood has been a choice not an easy one but a choice just the same!! Have a blessed New Year!!

cHRISTMMAS BLUES

As Chrismas draws close we as single parents struggle to make the right choices...do we pay bills????and not get the children anything or do we buy for the kids and forego th billss...I  explain it to my children and I get them at least one thing they want and pay on all the bills to keep the household going...no thats not what I would like to do but this has become a way of life for me as a single mom for so long with no help in sight...also father calls and wishes me a merry christnas not once stating were you able to provide our a Christmas or could I possibly in anway...I mean Ive only raised him yrs all by myself without financial support ...oh there was the time he sent a $20 money order in the mail and wrote CHILD SUPPORT in big black letters on it back when he was 1...Si

I encourage single and non single parents to respond to this blog. This is something I have been thinking about for quite sometime. See I havent always been single but after a bad divorce at an early age I chose to raise my son but then 8 yrs later it happened again...things that make you go hmmm

Choice or Force
